A few years back, Walmart brought in the Nielsen Ratings people to sweep their in-store network. 150 million people watch it every week - more than the number who watch many network hit shows.
The in-store videos - all kids doing wonderful things - just tell people to look up at the monitors. So simple. And, as it turned out, profitable.
Attention and Recall went from 31% to 67%, in a day. And Kai Ryssdal featured this campaign on NPR'sMarketplace.
